"Wandering" is an original composition composed by Chloe Weir from this year's Grades 5/6 class. Through a teacher-driven, student-choice process that involved engaged listening and thoughtful selection of preferences, classmates selected her song as one of two to represent the best efforts of her music class. When asked what inspired her to title her musical work "Wandering," Chloe responded: "I've always loved (the word) wandering being used in songs and stories. Pleasantly surprised with how the orchestration of her music sounds, Chloe added: "I honestly think it was perfect the way she (Michelle Pegus) did it, because it makes me think of walking through the jungle!" "Crackers" is an original composition composed by Briaua Joy from this year's Grades 5/6 class. When asked what inspired her to title her musical work "Crackers," Briana's response was straight to the point: "Food!! I love food and I love crackers!!!" "The Flowing River" is an original composition composed by Stephen Shaw from this year's Grades 6 class. Through a teacher-driven, student-choice process that involved engaged listening and thoughtful selection of preferences, classmates selected his song as one of two to represent the best efforts of his music class. When asked what inspired him to title his musical work "The Flowing River" Stephen, for who we know as a young man of many words, this time, had to struggle to find the right words: "I thought of it at the last second, but The Flowing River was also flowing with the deep musical thoughts of my mind!"
